Car description

I will describe this Cutlass Convertible the best that I can. I bought this car not to long ago sight unseen and spent alot of money on the car to find out it was NOT a real 442 or w-30. I knew it was not a w-30 when I bought it, ut was told it was a real 442, t is NOT. With that said I know I will not get any where near what I paid for the car. I will tell you it is a great driving car, as a 350 Rocket motor, uto trans and a 12 bolt rear. I have driven the car with no issues at all, tops great, rives great on the high way and so on. The car has some flaws that I was not told about when I bought the car. I was told the paint was a 8.5 to 9, t is not. I will just say I am very picky and some people might think it is a 8 or so, feel it is more 6 to 7, hines great looks great from 5 feet but does have some imperfections that I try to point out in pictures. The tires are new, as front disc brakes, he floors and vehicle are solid and has had 1 floor pan replaced at some point in its life. Again, have had alot of show cars so I might be a little tough on my own description. The tach does not work, he am radio is not plugged in, he wiper washers are not hooked up, he lower kick panels should be replaced as the old owner took the speakers out, he drivers mirror remote cable is missing, nd the center console shifter cluster is missing. These cars are very hard to find, ere is the production totals for Oldsmobile Cutlass's from 1970 they made a total of 2993 convertibles, 971 they made 1304 total, nd 1972 only 1171..These cars are very collectible, on't think twice about buying a Cutlass they are in demand due to these low production numbers. I can always add a buy it now for a serious buyer, ar can be sold at any time also. The car has a great look, tance and will do well in local car shows if your into that..But I would replace the front seat covers, ide interior kick panels, ix the bezel for center console..The top is perfect, lass back window and works as it should.

The rear is a 12 bolt rear as the ad stated.....Someone emailed me as I posted and said it was a 10 bolt, t is a 12 bolt. Also had a few question on how it handles on the high way. I work 30 miles each way and the car drives great at 70 - 75.. Also need to note that the drivers seat has some play in it, read my ad and left that out...Could be a easy fix but I have not looked into it. I am losing a good amount of money on the car, omeone will get a deal..With that said, was offered a few offers and I am not giving it away...I will just cover it up and have things fixed in the winter time when I slow down at work. Good luck..With all the emails and questions I feel that the car will sell as my reserve is low.
