Up for auction is my 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.I purchased the vehicle about four years ago as a project but due to limited space and time, won't have an opportunity to restore it. The car was parked in the California high desert so the body is very solid. All rust you see in pictures appears to be surface rust only. There is no rust through that I know of. The body is very straight which is the primary reason I purchased it. As far as I know, verything is complete and original with the exception of the engine and transmission. The previous owner replaced the original number matching 350 V8 with a 350 out of a late 70s Oldsmobile and the car was without a transmission when I bought it. I sourced an earlier 350 engine from either a 68 or 69 (I don't remember the year offhand and I don't have the casting number written down) four door Cutlass. Anyone who is familiar with the Oldsmobile engines knows that that earlier 68-72 blocks and heads and superior to the later years and much more desirable. Those early Olds motors will run circles around any stock Chevy 350 of the era.The 350 that's in the car was completely rebuilt about two years ago and has never been fired. I had a TH400 transmission custom built to go behind a high performance 455 for another project I had planned and never got around to. The transmission, ike the engine, as never been run. The car has a brand new radiator and transmission cooler installed as well. There is no carb or fan and the gas tank should probably be flushed well (parked in the desert for years) or replaced. The car came without keys which is I don't have better pictures of the interior. When I lost my garage and parked it in storage, locked the doors with the intent of replacing the locks and ignition when I brought the car back home. That never happened but I will have the doors unlocked before it is picked up.There is still work to be done on the car - brakes, lectrical, nterior, aint, tc. It's being sold just as I bought it - a clean, olid project but with the added benefit of having a rebuilt engine and transmission. If you're looking for a car you can drive home, his one isn't for you. If you're looking for a great starting point for a classic car project and are willing to put in some work, lease feel free to bid to win.I'm not sure what other information you may find useful but, lease message me if you have any questions and I'll try to answer them the best that I can. I have a clean title for the car.The car will be sold as-is, here is and buyer is responsible for all shipping and/or transportation costs. If you will be shipping the vehicle, 'll work with your transportation company based on my availability. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at auction end with the balance of the sales price due at the time the vehicle is picked up. I can hold the car and will continue to pay the storage fees for up to one month after auction end but if the car cannot be picked up at that point, reserve the right to relist unless the buyer has made other arrangements with me ahead of time.

I was able to find the paperwork on the engine rebuild and will be posting a list of all parts used tomorrow. The engine came out of a 69 four door Cutlass. I believe I also found the keys for the car but won't be able to confirm until Saturday morning.
