1965 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88; 2 door convertible

Good shape outside (more below), very good shape inside.

Some rust on the body (primarily passenger side rear quarter panel area, around inside of trunk, and around convertible cavity – see pictures).Interior is in very good shape (no rips or tears in seats).This was an Arizona car prior to ’08, West Texas from ’08-’15, Alabama since.I bought the car in ’08 and was told it came out of storage in ’05.From ’08-’11 the car was regularly driven.It had starting problems sometime around 2012 and was driven infrequently (the car comes with a new carburetor that was never installed), then life got hectic and the car went into storage and hasn’t come out since (except getting moved from Texas to Alabama in 2015).

I am facing the reality that I will never get this car fixed and back on the road.

If you are looking for a cool old car, just get this running.If you are looking for a show car, body work is needed.

Here is what I know:The convertible will power up and down.All windows power up and down expect the rear right window (not sure why… they all worked back when I drove the car; i.e., before current storage).I did not try to crank the car (coolant drained), but trust it will crank.

I bought the car re-painted, was told this is the original code C Provincial While color.The convertible top was new in ’05.Convertible top looks good from a distance, but has discoloration in spots (up close) and one very small tear in the rear right.I inherited the 20” Boss chrome wheels and do not have the original wheels.I do have the original air cleaner.

Comes with clean title and what were claimed to be original car brochure & ‘owner protection plan’ manual (which is sort of cool & stamped-metal).
