About this vehicleThis 1957 Oldsmobile 98 is a restored vehicle with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.Seller's Notes1957 Oldsmobile 98 hardtop. Restored some years ago, the undercarriage of the car is as clean as the topside. The original engine was replaced by the previous owner with a 502 Chevy crate engine and crate 400 transmission. The engine and trans have less than 500 miles on them. I have the original engine and transmission which are both in great shape and restored as well. I have all of the parts to reinstall the original engine and transmission if the new owner chooses to. The paint, chrome and stainless trim are in excellent condition. The Olds has power windows, power steering, power brakes and a power seat. The continental kit with the spare tire at the rear of the car can be removed if the new owner chooses to. The previous owner also added Vintage AC to the car. The only reason for selling the car is that I don’t have as much time to drive it as I would like and I would like to let someone else enjoy it.
