Hello! You are looking at a 1959 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 with custom paint and interior.
This car was painted in the late 90's early 2000's but still looks pretty good. I'll go through what I know about the car:
Car runs and drives out great. Transmission and engine seem strong. It has the 371 Oldsmobile Rocket Engine with a 3x2 carb set up. Currently it is only running off of 1 carb (but runs good).
Interior is in pretty good shape, it does have velvet around the instrument panel and panel above the glovebox that is coming unglued. There are also a couple of pieces of vinyl in the back coming unglued beside the seat. The car has been signed by George Barris, Gene Winfield and Daryl Starbird.
The speedometer, gasgauge heater controls, or radioaren't working. It is possible it is a fuse(s), I haven't checked.
Dash lights light up at night. Warning lights light up when you start the car and work. Cold Green light comes on as well until the engine warms up.
It does have power brakes but they will need to be adjusted. They work but they are sketchy. The body is in great shape as you can see. There is a small place toward the back where it looks like the paint is cracking just above the fender skirt on the drivers side.. The guy I got the car from said no rust but I can see tiny bubbles starting to form in the back down low. Nothing major at all.
The doors have been shaved and the actuators aren't working so I just leave a window down (always park in the garage). I do have a couple of new actuators that came with the car. It does have a custom grill but I do have the original grill, OLDSMOBILE grill letters with original headlight buckets and rings.
The car has been lowered 2 inches all the way around.
All in all this is a very cool car that you do not see too many of. There are two listed on Ebay right now as I am listing this. One is $39K and the other is $61K. This is abargainat this price. Even if you don'like the paint and the way it is set up you could still have a great start to a rare car. I put two videos of the car on here so you can see it and hear it run. If you have anyquestions please message or call me - four 1 seven - six six 4 - three 213.
