1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Brougham DIESEL with only 29K Time Capsule
This car was purchased from an estate of a collector of anything diesel. This vehicle has had one owner since he took delivery of it brand new on July 2, 1980 with only 65 miles on it!
This car runs and drives like a dream ! It starts right up with no issues and has two brand new battery's installed also has 4 brand new tires on it as well as new shocks. Fluids were changed. You could hop in and fire up this diesel and drive cross country in pure luxury all the while this 350 CUBIC INCH diesel just sips fuel and has more the enough torque to cruise down the highway. While we are talking about driving it's important to tell you that if you are familiar with these engines you know that the early generations had issues, well not this one because Oldsmobile replaced this one in 85 when they released an updated engine for the DIESELS. I was told the new updated diesel had Roller Cams and rockers all forged parts more torque and horsepower over first generations.
The car is finished in a nice Jet Black paint job all original and still has a nice shine paint isn't perfect as you can see but for a 1980 its not too bad the interior is finished in a nice tan leather and has massive seats that are like sitting in a couch. The ac needs to be recharged it holds a charge for a day or so. The power windows work fine. The radio works. The steering wheel needs replacement they always cracked.
This car is truly a RARE find and a time capsule at that the collector that owned it meticulously took care of his cars with maintenance and they were never neglected. Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of General Motors HISTORY
