We are trying to be fair to all buyers and we do not want non paying bidders bidding up cars that an honest person wants to buy, and being bid up by a person who is playing a game with our account and thousands of other accounts in this country. We want to be fair and square to all real potential bidders. Non paying buyers will be reported to eBay. We hope not to have any.Balance is to be paid by check, cash orwire transfer only. Please send us your name and phone number directly through eBay so we can work out the paperwork and delivery afterdeposit has been made. We charge $150 for paperwork and title transfer and 45 daytags are available for $18.50.
We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer's Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it'sthe buyer's responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can't make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.
If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer's responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.
All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.
We're offering for sale a really nice 1963 Olds Cutlass 2-door convertible. This car has the large V8 high output engine, automatic transmission, and it drives excellent. The engine was rebuilt recently, it has a brand new 4 barrel carburetor on it, and it starts and drives fantastic. The tires and brakes are new too, and there were also a lot of front end parts replaced. When you're driving this car, you just give it a little gas, and the car just flies down the road. I didn't realize they had such fast cars back in 1963, and the whole drive train we believe to be original. The car reads 57K miles, but we can't guarantee them to be actual because the vehicle is almost 60 years old.
Underneath the vehicle is all solid as seen in the pictures, and the trunk is in great shape. 2 years ago there was a new convertible top put on, last year there was a new interior put in the car, and this year it was going to be repainted, even though it really doesn't look bad. The gentleman I bought the car from had to sell it because of health reasons. He just didn't want the car sitting in the garage not being used. He wanted someone to enjoy it.
I was going to paint the car a deep red, then everyday I thought about it more and I said to myself "You know, somebody else may want to paint it blue, or repaint it white, or maybe another color, since I bought it to sell it.". So I decided to paint nothing. The way you see the car, from bumper to bumper, is exactly the way I bought it. These are rare cars, and its even rarer to find one with a large motor, automatic, and being a convertible. If you check out the NADA, it's amazing what they book out for. If you go to other sites, you won't believe what they're asking for repainted ones, that probably aren't as nice as mine.
Now you have the opportunity to finish the car off and make it your own by choosing the color and the shop you want to put it into to make it into a cool car that you could drive and enjoy for as long as you want. So when the auction is over in 7 days, the last highest bidder will win. If you like the car so much that you want to shoot me an offer that's fair, that can work too, and if you're ready to go cruising this summer with the top down, bid with confidence and buy yourself a cool ride!
PS: The convertible boot is brand new.
