Up for auction is a 1965 oldsmobile 442 convertible 4 speed roller project. Not a “CLONE”. This is a “NO RESERVE AUCTION” The vehicle has no engine. transmission or driveshaft. Vehicle has a 10 bolt 2. 73 rear end. Previous owner started restore to vehicle. Most of vehicle exterior body work and original paint redone. Looks like floor pan was patched behind the front seats and small spot in trunk by the tire hold down area. In my opinion they need to be repaired. Metal to redo the interior floor pans where the shifter hump had been altered and full length floor pans are included to repair (see pictures). The needed trunk repair is minor. I was told that the front end is a clip off of a 1964 Olds 442. The body is very nice and straight. A few minor nicks in the paint nothing major. It has a clear bonded signed Texas title from the previous owner that I purchased it from. Here is what comes with the vehicle: Rally wheels (10/31/79 14x6 JJ T 991 MWZ) New P225/70R14 HANKOOK OPTIMO tires (I paid $460 for them). Header Bow and End Caps Power Top and Top Cylinders (minus pump) Chrome trim for the windshield top area (complete set plus) Chrome for the convertible boot area (2 complete sets) All window glass and regulators except windshield All door handles inside and out All wiring harnesses Front Grill (minus 442 Badge) and headlights Side Scoops with 442 Badges Dash with 442 Convertible Top Switch Badge Combo Bucket Seats Rear Trunk Panel Molding with 442 Badge Everything seen in the pictures If the auction would go to $4000 I would personally transport to Los Angeles. Los Vegas. Albuquerque or El Paso (350 mile any direction from Phoenix area in the Continental US). As you know it is a 50 year old car. You get what you see in the pictures. If you are not serious about bidding and have positive feedback. Please don’t bid. All sales final. no returns or refunds. No warranty or guarantee written or implied! On Feb-27-15 at 05:05:01 PST. seller added the following information: This vehicle is very rare. This vehicle is 1 of only 1695 convertibles with a 4 speed produced in 1965. It was the first year that it was badged solely as a 442 (and not Cutlass/F85/442) with the 400 cu in 345 hp engine. Although the 442 first came out as an option on the 1964 Cutlass F85 it did not have the 400 cu in engine in it (64 had a 330 cu in 310 hp). Check out the current values both high and low from NADA and Hagerty for this vehicle. It is a very restorable and valuable vehicle according to recent sales. http://www. nadaguides. com/Classic-Cars/1965/Oldsmobile/442/2-Door-Convertible/Values http://www. hagerty. com/valuationtools/hvt/vehiclesearch On Feb-27-15 at 06:14:28 PST. seller added the following information:NOTE: When checking vehicle value on www. hagerty. com use Cutlass for the model and then 1965 will come up and then choose convertible.
