Car description |
---|
Originally a CA owned by the proverbial "little old lady" was bought by a real estate agent who dumped tons of money in it. I aquired it in 2010 when he was court ordered to sell it. I made changes such as the Scarebird front disk brakesc700r4 trans with an aluminum driveshaft and the wide whites. Also changed is the alternator to a Powermaster 1 wire alternator. The previous owner chromed many parts that are not normally chrome. Really makes it pop.
I installed a bench seat from a Dynamic 88 that was rebuilt and upholstered because "I need you hear with me, and not way over in a bucket seat". I still have the orignal white upholstered bucket seats that will come with the car. The bench is manual, the orginal buckets are power.
Center console. I grafted a 700r4 gate to the original T handle to help retain a stock look. While it shifts with no problem, the detents are felt more from the transmission than the shift gate. When I installed the bench seat, I moved the shifter forward quite a bit. It works fine, just a little different. I have a 2nd console that I started to cut down to make a mini console. The 700r4 has a stage 1 shift kit and the Corvette servo. Lockup still needs to be installed. There is a trans cooler mounted up front where the battery used to be. The battery is now in the trunk.
Front kick panels are missing. Trunk needs a floor carpet.
The car does have AC and it works normally, but all in all, you're better off with the power windows down.
Included is a dual carb intake for the 394 CI motor and lots of extra trim pieces.
The headlights have been changed to a modular style where a halogen insert type bulb is used. The tri bar headlight trims are included.
Shipping: You're welcome to pick it up yourself or have it shipped. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. You can even drive it home if you so desire.
While this car is not "original", the changes made were not made to distract from the overall styling of the car. This thing gets attention anywhere you go. If you have ANY questions, feel free to contact me. Located in Kingman, AZ
