Car description

Neat story- in 2010 a woman located and purchased this car as a gift to her parents. They bought the cat new! She had it restored for them too. It's a big, slick, smooth runnin convertible. EXTERIOR: Wow, the body and paint is really one of the nicest we have. The factory color is beautiful. It is laid out evenly, clear coated and polished to a wet glass finish. The reflection along the bottom is straight and glossy as the... top. It takes an excellent body to look this good. It is really straight, not a ripple anywhere. The doors fit square and flush, close like new. Up front the bumper is rechromed, the grill is shiny. The stainless trim on the sides are straight and bright. In back I love to oval tail lights, they're in great shape, bumper is rehromed. Has fender skirts and fuel door trim. Door jambs are real nice, new weather strips. The rims are painted to match the car, has the original hubcaps with beauty rings. Rides on radial tires. The convertible top looks brand. It's a crisp bright white and rear plastic window crystal clear. Has white boot when top is down. INTERIOR: It appears to be very good original condition. The seat upholstery is very nice. The door panels have been redone, carpet was replaced. The dash area is beautiful. All the chrome sparkles, plastic trim is excellent. I love the cool knobs and steering wheel. Has original owner's manual in the glove box. Seat belts have been added front and back. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has it's number matching, big 394 V-8. The motor runs smooth. The entire compartment is very well preserved. Has proper valve covers, air cleaner glass fuel bowl filter, glass washer fluid bottle etc. The motor is painted neatly. Firewall is very good original. Inner fenders and core support have been painted a nice smooth satin black. so is the glass washer bottle TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is enormous! It's all rock solid, clean metal. Has a real nice fresh coat of aqua gray spatter finish paint. Has a painted rim with tire for a spare, weather strip has been replaced. UNDERSIDE: Rock solid. In places the original undercoat has flaked off you can see spotless factory primer. The components are original. Bottom of motor is clean. Has original Roto Hydramatic trans.
