Selling my '71 Vista Cruiser because I'm currently working in Iraq, and won't be home for a while. I think there's nothing worse than letting a car just sit' they seem to know and start to have problems, so I figured I'd sell it, and let someone else enjoy it.
I planned on doing a 442 Wagon. I attached a photo at the end to show what they look like, very cool.
Anyway, the car is from California, so the body is very solid. There is some slight surface rust as you can see in the pics. I just drove it out of the building for the pics, so it wasn't cleaned, this is how it is.
I left it running for about 20 minutes, and it started steaming out the dash vent, so it needs a heater core, I didn't see any leaks on the floor though. It is missing on a cylinder, it has been sitting a while...
The car does drive, brakes aren't great. Power steering is easy. I would recommend trailering home for Car is in safety.
The engine doesn't smoke at all. It does start right up.
Tires are average. I planned on BFG T/A's. I do have some extra body side trim pieces lying in the back seat.
Car is in storage in Princeton, Illinois in my sister's building. This is about 2 hours West of Chicago on I-80. If you need transport, I know a guy.
Any questions, call me at 815-878-3886, Mike
Thanks for looking!
