Car description |
---|
I've had the pleasure of owning this 1939 Oldsmobile for the past 12 years. I bought it as a fun car to cruise to the local car shows in and now its time for someone else to enjoy it. It is a restomod, bringing modern comforts with the look and feel of a classic.
The drivetrain consists of a GM 350 small block (4 Bolt Main) that is fed by a 600 CFM Edelbrock carburetor. The transmission is a 3 speed Turbo 350 and the rear end is a posi out of a 76 El Camino. The wheels are Chrome Cragars. The fronts are wrapped in 245/60/15 tires and the rears are wrapped in 275/60/15.
Front suspension, power brakes, and hydraulic components including the powersteering were sourced from a 79 Firebird.
The interior was updated before I bought it. It features power seats in the front, a Panasonic radio with CD and MP3 capabilities, air conditioning by Southern Rods and Parts, Digital gauge cluster, and the adjustable steering column which came out of a 79 Firebird.
The exterior is finished in silver and black, with red pin striped accents. All the chrome and brightwork is original and complete. All the glass is original and they all open and close as they should.
There is no rust on the car. It has been garage kept during my ownership. No engine or differential oil leaks, the transmission could use an oil pan gasket as it seeps a little.
Feel free to message me with any questions.
