Car description |
---|
This is a 1965 Oldsmobile I used as a parts car for a 1965 Oldsmobile I was restoring. I purchased it in Harrisonburg, Virginia earlier this year and drove it 100 miles back to Richmond. Most of the parts I took off were replaced with the same parts from the wagon. The car has 67k original miles and was titled actual miles by the selling dealership. The car ran great on the trip back and still starts right up, even though it has been mostly sitting since I bought it. It has many new parts installed by the selling dealership. It passed Virginia state inspection in August and is good until August of 2018. Some of the parts I borrowed were not replaced but are available, including:
Wiper Motor, Chrome Windshield trim, Steering reservoir Cap, Some interior trim.
The car is sure to win "ugliest classic car" at most car shows as it has numerous dents, rust repairs and is multiple colors, but it has an original strong running, low mileage 330 cubic inch V-8. Also has four Olds rally wheels in good shape. The interior is in great shape and has a working aftermarket am-fm 8 track. The heat and lights work and the car could easily be a daily driver again with a little work. I did crack the windshield when trying to remove the trim but replacements are available for around $200.00.
The car is available for inspection in the Richmond area and I can send a video of it running if needed.
