Car description |

1992 Oldsmobile Bravada. Runs and drives, but needs some TLC. Recently passed Colorado State emissions with a new catalytic converter. Features:-Digital dash works 100%-new intake-new catalytic converters and muffler-new CPI spider and fuel pump-newish windshield-aftermarket wheels, tires with useful tread remaining-new steering gear-LED headlamps that work decently-upgraded stereo that sounds 'ok'-includes original 15" wheels, spare tailgate, many spare parts, factory service manual.
Needs:Lots of TLC. There is rust creeeping in many places, but it's all repairable at this point. The interior is all there, but it rattles and has some beat up parts, like the center console and the dash. It also likely needs new suspension joints, even though the steering gear and Pittman/idler are new. The cruise control does not work (not sure why). The A/C also needs replacement, I think the pressure switch is bad. The transmission makes a bunch of chattering in reverse, and that's a relatively new symptom. This vehicle should be purchased by someone who understands what they are buying, and has no expectation of buying a daily driver without a good bit of labor. With the current state of the suspension, it can be a bit disconcerting to drive on the highway and I would not take a road trip in it. The engine and transmission were replaced years ago, so the numbers don't all match. All that said, it has been reliable for 25 years.
