1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais, 2-door hardtop five-speed manual transmission, 260 V-8 engine, two barrel carburetor. Car was stored in a garage from 1987-2017. The gas tank was removed and thoroughly cleaned. The carburetor was professionally rebuilt. Installed new battery, belts & hoses, oil change, radiator fluid, and had the brakes gone through and inspected. Replaced all the original tires with correct factory size (14"). Removed from storage in July with13,250 miles. Currently has 14,200. This car is road worthy and ready to drive anywhere. Runs and rides like a brand new car. Windows do not leak air and is very quiet. The previous owner misplaced the title to the car. Applied for a missing title. I now have a free & clear Wisconsin bonded title in my name. The bumpers are straight, but they will need to be re-chromed because they have some pitting on them. (see pictures.) The headliner is sagging in some places and would need to be reattached. There was a box sitting on the trunk lid and the contents leaked onto the trunk lid causing the corrosion as seen in pictures. All the glass in the car is crystal clear with no cracks or chips. All the weatherstripping in this car is in excellent condition. The car has power steering, power brakes, AM/FM stereo. Sport rally package for the interior and high-back, reclining bucket seats. Interior is in excellent condition. The car is being sold locally as well, so I reserve the right to end my listing upon sale of car. The car is being sold "as is." No warranty. Because of selling the car late in the season, I understand that storage can be a problem for some buyers. I am willing to offer to store the car all winter until spring, free of charge.
