I am helping sell this 1950 Oldsmobile 98 Futuramic sedan to someone who is looking for a great-potential, good-survivor or just a desirable classic. The car was driven into the family barn over 40 years ago and not moved until now. Now it's time to settle the estate. The car has a very straight and mostly very solid body, with plenty of "patina" (surface rust, barn dirt and some real rust).
This car has its original V8 engine and automatic transmission. The car has not run in over 40 years and we did not attempt to get it running. This car is complete and ready to make your own. The stainless is all there and is in good condition. The chrome is straight, but has normal surface rust and pitting. The car needs some glass replaced, as pictured, the windshield is good. This is a hard to find car that deserves restoring. The car rolls and steers fine - we can help with loading if needed.
