1970 Oldsmobile 442Real Deal Car Here, No clones, tributes, added options, color changes, ect.Factory 455 365hp Engine TH-400 Trans
This Freemont, CA built car spent its' life in South Texas, and is completely rust free, with all original body panels. This car has the original, correct, non dimpled 70 fenders. No trunk issues, no floor issues, no mud in the quarter panels, ect.
The car is highly optioned! No repro parts here. Correct OAI W-25 hood, original to the car. (not a repro with a bunch of pop rivets). the hood is a original W-25 piece, steel frame over fiberglass. Not a Thorton reproduction.
The car is a factory rally cluster car and everything works. Tilt wheel! The car has a sport wheel as well, sport mirrors, power brakes, power steering, A/C all there, sans belt. factory super stock wheels with real good BFGoodrich radial T/A's.
The interior of the car is excellent, Factory Hurst Dual Gate car. No rips, tears, headliner issues, ect.
The body on the car is very straight, and like I said...zero rust ever. The paint on the car is nice, real nice base/clear, no orange peel, ect. Original paint in all the jambs, ect. Remember, the paint has some age to it, but is very nice. The stripes are buried in the clear.
The 455 motor is what I believe to be original, rebuilt about 10k miles ago. has W-30 cam in it, the car pulls very well, has gobs of power, and is dialed in like a Rolex watch. Sounds great! I can't find anything on the VIN pad on the drivers side below the head, it is dated correct to the car, correct E Heads. If the stamp is light or non existent, I'm not sure...but I believe it to be original to the car. The Trans is the original TH-400. The rear end is the correct O type Olds rear with a 3.42 posi in it and a W-27 rear end COVER.
The chrome is is excellent as well.
Overall a super high optioned real deal car in very nice colors, ready to drive.
Cars with these options don't come around often, at this price...so...but it, put gas in it, and drive it and do nothing.
I am a avid collector and know these cars very well. Look at my feedback, I do not sell junk.
You can call me at any reasonable hour to discuss the car. (630) 425-8567
I can assist with shipping anywhere in the country.
Payment due within 3 days of auction end, no exceptions. Payment cash in person or via wire transfer only.
