I bought this car on e-bay in September with the intention of restoring. At that same time I started building a shop. Unfortunately. this shop is requiring more funds than I anticipated. This is a 4-speed 442. It has factory A/C. I have been told that the manual transmissions didn't come with A/C. but looking at the pic's this was not added. Paint code is 28 on the data plate which is a twilight blue. According the previous owner this car has the original 12-bolt rear end with the boxed control arms. Previous owner did not find a build sheet inside the car. but the gas tank is still intact and has not been removed. Previous owner stated this car had one re-paint in viper red. The paint work is inferior. and at best is a 10-12 footer. The inner fenders were swapped at some point and are not the correct ones. The engine that came in this car is not the numbers matching engine. It is believed to be an early 70's but does have the proper 396021 F casting. It currently is missing the distributer. There is no transmission. clutch. or exhaust manifold included. Most of the chrome is present including a rear cut-out bumper. The front and rear floor pans are the originals and have never been replaced. These will need to be replaced. Seats overall not to bad for a 45-year old car. In my opinion the frame still appears in pretty good shape. Included in the glove box is a 1970 original owner's manual. the 1970 Oldsmobile new vehicle warranty and owner protection plan. Overall this car will need a complete restoration. but is well worth it. I have tried to make sure to list the condition as best as I can. but please e-mail me with any questions. At this pint I am just looking to get back what I have invested in this car. Thanks.
