Completed in April at 136,200 miles; with $7,300 spent on mechanicals, $5,500 on the cosmetics, and $6,000 for 170+ hrs. of labor, everything now looks original and functions properly.

This car has been freshly painted, plus the interior received new: seats, carpet and mat, sun visors, mirrors and lenses, plus the trunk lining and mat were replaced. The transmission and torque converter were rebuilt and the engine was refreshed. All the rubber body mountings, gaskets and seals are new, as well as the: ignition, charging, fuel, starting, cooling, wiper, steering, suspension and brake systems. The A.C., radiator, vacuum headlight systems, power windows andclock were all rebuilt.

Still in good original condition were the interior: door and side panels, rear deck, headliner, dash, steering column, as is the exterior: stainless steel trim, chrome, lenses and window glass.

Upgrades include: a two bay master cylinder, passenger side mirror, tighter turning gear box, pointless - high energy - long life ignition, all bulbs replaced with L.E.D.s, and rear sequential turn signals were added.
Besides the 70 hours spent by the dealer, I have spent over 100 hours making repairs and meticulously detailed this car. The only flaw in the paint is a scratch about one inch long next to the windshield wiper on the drivers side that I caused while replacing the wiper arm. Any parts or systems that have to do with safety or dependability has been either replaced or rebuilt. Everything works, even the clock, power windows and the air conditioning. A record of every part, the cost, and the time it took for installation, can be seen in two of the pictures that are posted. They add up to over $18,750 worth of repairs and upgrades. Every available OEM part has been replaced on this car.

With the numerical rating system used for appraisals having such a wide spread between rankings, I used averaging and percentages to brake them down to a fractional system between a rating of 2 and 3. This car would be a 2.75.

Hagerty and NADA's Condition vs. Value: Average Hagerty NADA
#2.00 Excellent or Restored $35,175 $34,020 $36,330
#2.50 Outstanding or Rebuilt $30,468 $29,540 $31,395
#2.75 Very Good or Refreshed $25,760 $25,060 $26,460
#3.00 Good or Average $21,053 $20,580 $21,525
#4.00 Fair or Daily Driver $11,786 $11,445 $12,127

Also included with the car is: All the components of the Jack, an Owners Manual, the Repair Manual, a Car Cover, a Canvas Tool Bag (a Dealer Option in '66), a Spare: Set of Fan Belts, 2 PER-5 Oil Filters, Thermostat, two Radiator Hoses, plus Wrenches, and an extra metal Air Cleaner Decal (a $45 value).
This car is ready to go anywhere and Inspections prior to bidding are welcome.
My plan was to take the car to shows, but things have changed and I would like to sell it to someone that will enjoy it and not have it sit in the garage as it is now. The price that I'm offer the car at is what I have invested into it, with nothing added for my time, so please
don't bother making low offers.
A non-refundable $500 deposit made within 24 hrs. of winning the auction will hold the car for one week until the final payment is due in full.
