Car description |
---|
1960 Oldsmobile long roof station wagon. When was the last time you have seen one of these babies?
This is a rare car that is very solid and a great builder.
99.684% Complete.
Here is the break down.
RUST; Very little rust. I have taken pictures of the rust areas. The floors are solid. The body is solid. This is not some rust bucket. It lived most of its life in New Mexico. The rust that is there is shown to my knowledge.
BODY: The body has a few dents and dings, but in general is pretty darn straight for her age. You can see anything that is needed to mention in the photos. No Bondo!
MISSING PARTS: The only thing missing that I can think of is the radiator.......... dang scrappers!
WHEELS: The wheels that are on it all hold air. We also have the original 14 inch stock rims. The tires are bad on those rims.
INTERIOR: The interior is destroyed as far as the material is concerned. All os the springs and interior pieces are there and accounted for. The steering wheel is so awesome.
CHROME: The only missing trim isnt missing at all. It does have some damage, but can be saved by a good trim guy. It is loose and inside the car.
ENGINE: Unknown condition other than the fact that I know it is not stuck. The engine turns freely. The water pump is frozen, but obviously that would be replaced anyway.
TRANSMISSION: The trans is an automatic and it is the original unit. Condition is unknown.
PAINT: Original. Patina.
TITLE: I do have a clear title and it is ready to roll.
STORAGE: The car is in the Phoenix Metro area at my extremely good looking brothers house. It can stay there for a reasonable amount of time to await pickup. He will assist with loading.
TRANSPORT: Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
MUMBO JUMBO: Now for the junk. I have it for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel auction at any time. If you are going to bid on the car, please expect to pay for the car. If you have questions about the car please ask those questions "BEFORE" you bid on the car. Ebay fees are not cheap and I dont enjoy throwing money in the trash, sooooooooooooooooooooooo if you nedd to speak to someone about the car. If you need to ask your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, mechanic, fabricator, collector, brother, sister, friend, cousin, father, mother, religeous leader, guru, know it all or any other force natural or super natural, seen or unseen or if you need to consult your horoscope............ "PLEASE DO THIS BEFORE" you bid on my car. It will save us all a little trouble.
Feel free to ask any questions you would like. Feel free to come see the car in person. Bid with confidence, I do a detailed write up so you can bid without concern.
