When Olds introduced the 4-4-2 the term "Muscle Car" didn't exist in most peoples dictionary. But with a 4 speed 4 Barrel and dual exhaust, gear heads noticed. Then like most Muscle Cars through the years, the 442 morphed into more of a styling study than a true performance machine. But hey, style is cool. In 1983 the style of the G Body GM cars was hot and Olds capitalized on its performance heritage and brought back the Hurst/Olds name plate and created a 15th Anniversary Edition in Black Cherry and Silver with the iconic Hurst "Lightning Shifters" and T-tops. This one is a marvelous example of that style and engineering that is very clean, solid, and true to original. With less than 1500 produced and less than that with the T-Top and Lightning Rod shifter this is and will be a true collectors dream!
