Car description |
---|
68 Cutlass Supreme, Muncie 4 speed manual transmission, original matching numbers 350 engine, but heads have been replaced at some point. I think they are #7.No rust on frame and body but quarter panels have been replaced. Cutlass S hood. (I liked the louvers) saffron paint which is fine for a driver but would need some finishing to be a show car, some runs and not so shiny spots.
Original 3.08 open rear differential. Bumpers are just driver quality, straight but some rust spots. Drum brakes all around. Interior is Legendary brand parchment color. Bucket seats. Exhaust system is fairly new not all rusty.Runs great, but it is an original almost 50 year old engine that, to my knowledge, has never been apart. So probably should be rebuilt at some point.
It currently has the original 14" SSIII wheels. Not the chrome ones in the picture. They don't go with the car. Also the ram rod air scoops (under the front bumper) as shown in the picture are gone sorry. I was playing around with a w-31 setup for a while.
This car is also for sale locally so the auction could end anytime.I strongly advise asking questions or preferably checking it out before bidding. Please email me with questions as I'm sure I've forgotten some things. Inspections are welcome. The last thing I want to do is mislead someone, this car is far from perfect but it is a lot of fun and there are not very many original 4 speeds out there.
