Car description |
---|
For sale is a 1940 Oldsmobile Coupe, Series 90, straight 8 in very good condition, turn key. All stock parts, runs smoothly and quiet and is currently on the road and driven regularly. No rattles or shakes. No rust. Car is registered and insured. Title in hand. Very low mileage.
Has been in two different collections for the past 60+ years. Garage kept. Original manual available. Car was repainted 27 years ago. Original lacquer still on hand. New white walls.Tires changed four years ago.
Fresh battery, rebuilt starter.
All chrome is fresh.
New rubber hoses.
The original gabardine seats are still in place in the front, because I was warned not to alter from the original. The driver's side has lateral rips on the back and on the bottom. The back seat has an after-market seat cover, that appears to be from the 1950's. No rips or blemishes.
The trunk has all original carpeting and side padding, as well as the spare tire cover.
Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick-up and all related expenses including customs and taxes.
I was going to hot-rod it, but the car is just too clean and I couldn't get myself to cut her up.
I have yet to see another one of these at any cruise night or car show.
(European buyers encouraged. We speak German.)
