Totally unmolested Mississippi mud special in original straight condition (ok, I did add an oil filter adapter). The old tank has got to go to someone who will drive her more. 1958 was 50th Anniversary of General Motors so the '58s were one-year models - the "Kings of Chrome". Pedals are not worn at all and front wheel bearings seem tight so odometer is very probably accurate. Original paint on body has a great sun-faded patina while the white top still shines. Door panels and head liner in great condition. New carpet. Gas tank redone by Renu. Runs good. I've had the car for 8 years and driven minimally in local parades. I've had door panels off and there is no rust on inside of doors. Very minimal surface rust under wheel wells. Trunk is solid. Chrome is pretty good, stainless steel is excellent. Three floor pans have holes which I've sealed with a thick water-proofing membrane from the inside - carpet laid in place. Front seat has a nice cover on it so I've left it. Top of back seat is cracked from sun damage. I'll add some pictures, email me with questions. Thanks for looking.
