It has to be one of the finest G-Bodies in the country! 30,000 ORIGINAL MILES with T-TOPS!!!This amazing “survivor”, ll original, umbers matching, 985 Olds Cutlass Salon with 30,000 miles on it has had a total of4 ownersin its 30 year pampered life. This car was NEVER driven in rain or snow and it shows!Now, n to the description of this gorgeous vehicle. This Cutlass Salon wasneversmoked in, as sparingly driven (as I said, t currently has just over 30,000 original miles), ovingly cared for andalwaysgaraged since new with a car cover on it. Not only does it look new, t drives like new! The original owner’s manual is still in the glove box. I have all kinds of original documentation including a copy of the original title, he original window sticker, uild sheet, riginal dealer purchase paperwork and brochures, nd 2 sets of original keys. I have some of the receipts from the original owner validating the mileage and a list of items done to the car from the person I bought it from.This Cutlass was never hit and everything is in excellent factory original condition. All the lights, urn signals (including the turn indicators on the hood), orn, auges, ipers etc. are in perfect working order. Even the power antenna works perfectly. No electrical issues at all. The metallic gray paint shines like new, nd still retains it’s original painted-on pin striping. Every piece of stainless and chrome trim are all in excellent condition.The pictures speak for themselves but looks even better in person. This car handles beautifully and holds the road nice and straight at 40 MPH or 70 MPH. No pulling at all and is very tight and responsive. The car tracks straight. The brakes work beautifully with no issues at all. This Cutlass rides on a very good matching set of BFG T/A’s with 95% tread life left (15″ tires). They are mounted to the original factory wheels which look brand new with zero curb rash or defects. The exterior is simply incredible! The metallic gray color still shines like new! It honestly looks a 1 year old car. It has one tiny (and I mean TINY) nick on the trunk and one tiny chip in the paint about the size of my pinky fingernail just below the vinyl top on the driver’s side. THAT IS IT!! Not a ding, ent or scratch ANYWHERE on this car. The floors, rame and trunk areas as well as under the hood and trunk are all solid and rust free with no signs or rot anywhere. This car was rust proofed, aint sealed and undercoated from the dealer when it was brand new. The same for all the door jams and under the doors (see pictures). NO RUST!! The underneath looks extra clean. The exhaust system is the original factory exhaust system. I replaced the muffler as it was making some noise with a new one, ut all the other pipes are original including the tailpipe. No issues at all.It has new springs and new Monroe gas shocks installed by the previous owner. It takes the bumps very well and there is no excess drifting or bouncing while driving. Everything is still nice and firm. The steering and front end is still nice and tight and responsive like a new car would be.The trunk compartment is in perfect condition with its original trunk carpet intact and ZERO RUST. All the glass is perfect. The T-TOPS DON’T LEAK and fit nicely. No chips or cracks in the glass at all. All the doors open and close effortlessly, ust as new and all the door jams look new as well. NO RUST anywhere here.But that’s just the beginning! The stunning gray interior is absolutely breathtaking and100% original! Nothing has been modified or “cut up” in any way. This was a NON-SMOKING car, nd it still smells brand new. It looks exactly as it did back in 1985!The seats, oor panels, eat backs, arpet, eadliner (no sagging, ading or rips), ash pad (no cracks or fading), ear package tray (no cracks or fading) and trim pieces are excellent. The steering wheel even looks brand new! This car came equipped with the original AM/FM stereo cassette audio system (4 speakers), ower steering, ower disc brakes (front), ower windows, ower locks, ower drivers seat….all working perfectly. See picture of window sticker for complete list of options. The A/C has been converted to R134 and the heat works great with no issues. I replaced the original radio with an nice Pioneer head unit (CD/iPod) which looks and performs perfectly with the power antenna. I also replaced the front and rear speakers. The radio kept cutting out and changing stations on its own and the cassette deck played sometimes. NOTHING was cut up and I still have the original radio and speakers if someone wants to have it refurbished and reinstalled.This Cutlass has the original307 V8hooked to the original 3 speed automatic transmission. Both perform as new. Absolutely no knocking, moking or hesitation from the engine and the transmission shifts through the gears like a new car. I don’t even feel it shift it’s so smooth. I had the carb rebuilt (needed a new accelerator pump) and it performs perfectly. Choke works great and starts on the first try after sitting for a week. No leaksanywhere(not even a drop of oil) and no burning of any oil. It’s very smooth with no problems at all. There are absolutely no issues with overheating.
