A little history on the car:
Car was owned by a person in our family that worked for the Department of Defense and retired on 2000 (parking pass sticker still on front window). He had the car stored away in 1980 and brought it out of storage in 2000 to when he retired to enjoy the car again. At that time he had the original matching numbers engine overhauled and rebuilt. In 2002 he encountered some medical issues and correctly put the car back in storage. Making sure to correctly store the car and motor so no damage would come to the engine overtime. This last year the family pulled the car out of storage and had it professionally gone through and correctly oil primed and started. There isroughly 3,800 miles on the rebuild Engine and Transmission.
The car has 129,000 miles on it all original to the matching numbers motor which isserial numbered 38M166681 which matches the Vin #344878M166681 (See Pictures)
Car was born in Lansing Michigan
Its a 400 big block with a Automatic Transmission, lmost everything works on the car, ncluding the rear defroste, key buzzer, runk light, ll idiot lights, ash lights, linkers, retty much everything except the horn needs to be fixed and for some reason the heater core has been by passed, e are not positive if it needs a new heater core or he just disconnected it. Please assume the worst on that one please. Also the clock currently it not working we are not sure if its hooked up or needs repair. There is a chip in the ignition bezel, ut we ordered the part and will have it installed before the car sales.
The car is beautiful but does have minor flaws, ts not a trailer queen perfect show car. But this car should do very well at a show.
