Car description |
---|
This is a Real 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible - the most desirable year & model for classic Oldsmobiles. It is one of 2,933 produced in 1970. The vin begins with 344 to authenticate it is a real 442, s all 1970 442 Oldsmobiles have a vin starting with 344.
The engine is a period correct 455 ci V8 with a 4 speed transmission. Motor is a fresh rebuild with a W30 cam and less than 200 miles on it. Car has power steering, ower brakes (front disc) and power top. New clutch, hifter, hifter linkage, rake lines, uel lines, as tank, mergency brake cables and exhaust. The engine & compartment are correctly detailed and painted to factory specs with correct factory marked hoses and clamps. The car has all the correct decals and stickers throughout.
The body is freshly painted and is the first & only repaint of this vehicle. The car has entirely original sheet metal with the exception of the deck lid. I have the original deck lid if desired. Car has the correct striping and badging throughout. Also has the desirable Olds rally wheels (painted to factory specs) with new BF Goodrich tires.
The interior is completely original with the exception of seat covers and carpeting. Original water shed is undisturbed and in mint condition under the door paneling. The black convertible top is the original factory top and is in excellent condition.
The undercarriage is as clean as the rest of the car. It was meticulously cleaned and painted to preserve the integrity of the vehicle.
This is a very desirable American Classic. While this year & make car has always been valuable, arket values have spiked in recent years. Checkout Hagerty & NADA.... these cars are selling for big $$$.
This car is in excellent condition both inside and out. The car handles and drives like new.
