1970 44, 344 vin # ..I purchased the car a while back from the original owner, he car was bought new and spent all it's life in california till it recently came to oregon. The car was stolen back in the early 1990's and when it was recovered the original 455 was gone. The story i got is the motor in it now is a 030 over correct era 455 with about 30k mi on it but i didn't get any paper work with the motor so i cant say for sure. The motor sounds really good, ice mild lumpy cam. The carburetor might need a little work, t wants to load up sometimes but still runs good, he car does run and drive good, lthough i have only driven it up and down the street . The people i got it from said the TH 400 trans and 12 bolt are original to the car. It still has the original paint on it other then the few primer spots . The only real rust in the car was the bottom of the front fenders and he had that cut out and replaced with new metal. The floors and trunk look to be real solid, he quarter panels are solid. There is some rust along the bottom of the rear window channel. but it dont look blown through but without taking the rear window out it's hard to say. There are scrapes and bruises here and there but nothing major, he car has all it's original panels, he paints wearing thin so some surface rust is showing on the roof and hood.. The car needs the complete interior redone. The console has a break in it but i have another console housing that goes with the car. Has all the 14x7 rally wheels with nice 235/60/14 tires. Bumpers are real decent for the age. Most of the chrome and tri, rills, tc.. look really good for the age. windshield is cracked, eep in mind this is a unrestored original 442 ...Please look at all pics carefully and ask all questions before bidding. NO RESERVE!!! VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS!!! The car is for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the auction early at any time!! 0 OR BAD FEEDBACK CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELED!!
