1962 Oldsmobile F85 Convertible. Runs, rives and is currently registered but needs complete restoration. This car sat in the High Desert from 2008 until 2015. The mice and rabbits ate some of the wiring out of the trunk and from under the hood, hey also chewed a hole in the seats. When I pulled the carpet I found a small hole on both front floor boards from rust that looks like they would only need a small patch. I drained the fuel tank and put on a rebuilt carburetor and the engine (aluminum V-8) sounds good. I drove it around the block and the transmission shifts sluggish. The steering and brakes felt fine. The power convertible top works. Someone before me pulled the generator off and put on an alternator but did not complete the wiring. All of the glass looks good. The hood and right front fender have been changed so I assume it was in an accident before I bought it but I don't see any major damage. This car is a great candidate for a complete restoration. Any questions please call or E-mail before you bid. Although this vehicle is currently registered, do not recommend driving it home. If you are transporting outside the area, he vehicle will drive on and off a trailer fine. I will help with loading of the vehicle if necessary. All costs incurred for transportation are the responsibility of the buyer. THIS IS A "NO RESERVE AUCTION" AND WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. Thanks, ike (661) 943-0153
