1986 Nissan 300zx 5spd red with gray leather! 240 260 280 300 classic collector

You are looking at a very well kept 300zx that was purchased new out of California and driven very conservatively its whole life and it shows! This Z is one of the nicest examples I have seen in a long time. Lots of maintenance has been done over the years to keep this sweet machine in good running condition. This car is 34 years old and has its little scratches and paint chips but wow, it really is a sharp car. The clear coat is thin on the hood and is peeling in a few spots on the nose but shows very nice in most all other areas. You'll notice in the pictures that all body gaps and lines are near perfect on this car and the doors shut beautiful. There will be some things to tinker with but what Z doesn't or hasn't required that.. mechanically the car runs out great and just received a new water pump, timing belt and valve cover gaskets. The engine idles a little high and I'm not sure what is causing it however I suspect something to do with the cold start solenoid which doesn't appear to be working as it doesn't have a high idle when its first started but like I said it starts up easily and runs out very nice.The bottom of the engine is oily and mainly from a leaky power steering pump and the common leaky valve covers which were just done. I haven't had the chance to put very many miles on it however it appears to be not leaking anymore. Worst case the power steering may need attention but I only noticed a couple drops on my floor. The previous owner mentioned that regular ps fluid was used to service it and it requires ATF which is has been since converted back. The transmission shifts like it should and the shocks/struts are in good condition. The tires are near new and this 300 drives down the road nicely. I did notice the driver side windshield wiper is not operating with the other and I will be looking at that. As you can see in the pics the interior is in great condition wit the exception of the driver bolster that is in the pics. The rear carpet was replaced but looks nice. This car still has the privacy skirt and will come with a black bra along with its original T-Top bags. The T-Tops are in great condition and the original key is still there! I believe this is one of the most loaded models out there and the computer still talks to you if the door is left open or the headlights are on after the car is shut off.
