1992 Nissan Cedric - Y32 - Gran Turismo VIP - Right Hand DriveNot a 1980, it is a 1992, the Japanese vin does not conform had to select 1980 for it to accept the vin.
I developed an appreciation of the Japanese VIP style when visiting Tokyo Auto Salon in 2002. While on a trip to Japan scouting cars last year, I came across this classic example of VIP style. So, I had to buy it. In Japan, cloth seats are preferredover leather due to the humid climate. But, as you can see by the dash clock, this car was luxury for the time. It has some interesting features such as folding mirrors and a button you can press that spirts cold air in with the heat, so you don't get too hot. This car has a low milage classic VG30DE V6 motor, non turbo and should run for a long time.
The car is in great shape mechanically, did some basic maintenancewhen it came in. It has ran solid for the last year without issue. It does however need the front rotors turned due to spotting while it sat. New rotors are available on Nengun as well. There is also a minor crack in the kit by the exhaust.
