Rare Datsun Nissan 720 Diesel 5 speed pickup with Camper Top

1981 Datsun 720 Diesel 5 Speed manual - 137. 00 miles – 2 WD Only owned it three years and 6k miles. It was my weekend project truck and I hauled a fair amount of cargo in it. Has a trailer hitch but I never used it. This is not a powerful truck. but it probably gets the best mileage of any small pickup there is. The Good Great gas (I mean diesel) MPG. over 35 on the highway and mid 20’s around town. with the camper top. Incredibly durable SD22 engine. these are still in service all over Australia. Africa and Latin America. Good radio. speakers and CD player. Camper top is tight and does not leak. Heater works great but the cabin is drafty in cold weather. Upholstery is in good condition. I have driven this truck 200 miles at a time with no issues and up a few mountains with it half loaded. The Bad Some rust around the bottom of the driver’s side door and below the front bumper. No air conditioning. No power steering. Clock does not work. Tachometer does not work. Visibility is not great with the camper top. This is not an F150. nbsp; it does not have a lot of power. but is steady and cruises at 75 on the highway no problem. The Ugly Looks like it was painted with Krylon flat white paint. it is bubbling up in places. Tires have less than 50% tread left. Since I have owned it. I have replaced the gear oil. anti-freeze. emergency brake cable. differential fluid and the fuel pump. I tried WVO for a while but the fuel pump could not handle it (unlike my Mercedes 300SD Bosch fuel pump which handles WVO just fine and could probably pump shale oil. )Terms of Sale Clear NC title. no liens.
