Up For sale is this 1994 Nissan 240SX convertible with ONLY 88k original miles on the chassis. This car was a 1-owner car for most of its life until last year (2014). It was purchased by a friend of mine (but titled in his sister's name). The 1st thing he did was pull the stock KA24DE out and install a low-mileage JDM SR20DET engine. It was a very clean motor and 100% totally stock from an S13 Silvia Black-top. He bought a wiring specialties harness when he did the swap. Then he installed a brand new convertible top (because it was getting a bit old and he wanted this car to stay nice). Then he added a few upgrades like a Greddy front mount intercooler. performance aluminum radiator. electric fans. HKS style BOV. full stainless duals exhaust system (Apex-i style). and aluminum Circuit Sports overflow bottle. He also added some dash-mounted gauges (boost. AEM Wide-band. and oil pressure). I really don't like these on the dash but they work and it is better than not having them at all. They can easily be moved but the dash will have the hole in it. This dash is cracked anyway (common for the S13 and S14) Then he installed a Deep Acorn Steering wheel with an NRG removable hub. He did all of this within a few months. Then. he found out his girlfriend was pregnant. So. he called me and asked me if I would buy the car from him because he knows I also have a 500hp RHD Widebody S13. 5 Convertible. (I have included a pic of my personal S13 Convertible) and he knows I love Nissan cars and building them. I purchased it from him a couple months ago. It still needed a few things done to it (which I have done). We tuned the ECU and repaired a couple wiring issues with the fans. I ran a battery cable from the battery to the engine ground. The battery is in the trunk and he had only ran the 12V positive cable from the battery to the starter but not from the battery forward. We see this a lot. People just go from the battery to the floor of the trunk. We have found that this is not a sufficient ground for the ECU to work properly. The starter also works better when we do this. We also painted the car. Although the car is a very low-mileage chassis the paint was starting to fade and the clear coat was starting to peal a bit. Also. he wanted to make the hood and bumper look "blacked out" so he painted it with black spray paint. UGH!Anyway. it has been painted and it looks great!!!The car runs awesome! Seriously! It is a pretty clean car. These convertibles usually have all kinds of issues with the interiors falling apart but this one is pretty nice. The front seat were swapped out for a set of S14 seats. They are a LOT nicer than the S13 seats. The top is new and functions perfectly! The exhaust sounds awesome too. If you do not like anything about the car we can do anything you want. I am the owner of Z-Fever in Tampa and we are masters at the SR20. RB25. RB26. VG30. VQ35. and just about everything else Nissan makes!Be sure to check us out on Facebook. See all the work we do. Be sure to "Like" us while you are there so you can follow us. I have the link above in this ad. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. If you are a serious buyer just know I am not going to let this car go "Cheap" or at a "steal". We build these all the time and know the value. The car is easily worth $7500 but should bring more. If you bought a low-mileage convertible they usually run $3500+ and the SR20DET swap with all the parts is another $5k-$6k if you build it yourself. Also. if you are a serious buyer I am more than happy to put this car on our dyno and make a video for you so you can hear it run and see it for yourself. The car is nice. runs well. and everything works appropriately! Oh yeah. last thing. In these pics the valve cover was ugly as hell. I have replaced it with a stock black top cover. If you would prefer a rde one I can do that also. If you want more power. we can do that too. Just let me know how much you want and we can build it! Lastly. I am the owner of the car. It is registered to me in my name and it has a clean Florida title. Thanks for checking out our auction. Doug
