Car description |
---|
I bought this 300ZX Turbo from the original owner in 1993. It was driven in the summer months only and was always in a heated garage, by myself and the original owner . It has always been well maintained. The engine is quiet, there are no noises, leaks or vibrations. I pulled it out last summer and it had a little skip. I brought it to my garage and they replaced the following:
Complete major tune up including spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires.Oil and filter changeFuel filterTwo new tires on rearOne injector ( that was the skip)Both outer tie rodsFront end alignmentBattery
The clutch and related parts were replaced about 10,000 miles ago.
Everything works as it should with the exception of the cruise control. It never worked when I got it and I never bothered to have it fixed. It wasn't something I would normally use anyway.
As you can see from the photos, it is in extremely good condition. There is absolutely no rust on the body and the undercarriage is perfect. As I said, this car has never seen the salt here in New England where it has spent its entire life. The car was undercoated at the dealer when it was new as well. It is the original paint and I would honestly give it a 9 out of 10. There are a couple of very tiny chips here and there but they are minor. There are also a couple of tiny dings which could be easily removed with one of those paintless dent removal companies. The car shows very well and you will get many compliments when you drive it. The upholstery and the rest of the Interior is very nice, however the driver seat has some cracking and a small tear. If you really wanted to make the car perfect, I would say have those tiny dings taken out and have the driver seat reupholstered. But again, it's really very nice the way it is. The T-tops go on and off easily and they do not leak. There are no cracks in the dashboard and one can see that the car lived a very pampered life. I believe it has every option available that year. If you have shopped around for these cars, you'll see that it is very difficult to find one with t-tops, leather, Turbo and a 5-speed manual, as this one does. My Reserve is very reasonable and I really would like to see this car go to another enthusiast. These cars are still affordable, but they are becoming difficult to find in this type of condition.
I have all the original manuals and Storage pouches for the T-tops.
I have tried to describe this car as honestly as possible. I'm sure the new owner would be very happy with it. I've had it for a long time and it's time to let someone else enjoy it. I have too many cars anyway! I have sold other cars on eBay over the years and have 100% positive feedback, so bid with confidence. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to call me at 860 816 4448. Happy bidding!

Several folks have asked me about the timing belt. It was done at 68,000 miles. My apologies for the omission. Thanks.
