Car description |

For your consideration is this classic vintage Nissan 300 ZX Coupe, bright cherry red. It is one owner, low mileage, 22,667 miles. It is my car, bought new in 1986 for $22,000. Original sales receipt, plus folder with complete maintenancerecords. I drove it to and from my local teaching job. So, I guess "Little Old Lady School Teacher" applies.
When "Mommy" years happened and I had an SUV, my lovely "Z" sat in the garage, unused, under canvas cover. Last year, I had a small central Illinois garage work on it to get it running. Paid around $2,000, and the work included:Hydraulic Clutch system rebuilt4 New TiresDigital Instrument System replacedNew Rear BrakesBattery. The garage left a box with old replaced parts. Also recently I spent around $500 for new struts at the local Nissan dealer. The men at the dealership admired and asked many questions about my "Z".
The only repair I remember is touching up some light scratches on left front fender that happened when I backed out of garage incorrectly a long time ago, oops. The rest was regular maintenance.
I believe there are a couple minor age flaws: I noticed a small surface crack or split on right rear view mirror, in photo. Might need some upholstery work, cover for hatch. Also, barely noticeable is tiny paint crack on top, doesn't show in photos. All in all, it has aged well.
I may not have accurately listed all the specifics due to uncertainty on my part. Please ask any questions and I will try to answer quickly..
