Car description |

WE had 7 of these 300ZX's, as our daily driver to NYC. They run forever.
This one was bought, on Ebay, from the West Coast, with a seized engine. We installed a factory rebuilt long block, with all new sensor's and accessories.
Ran perfect for 2,000 miles and we switched to a lesser 1986 slick top. It was rusty and we drove that Z, the last 5 years and sold it on Craig's.
When we returned to start, this Z, the electric fuel pump would not click. We towed it to a dealer, they refused to work on it, as too old and no diagnostic port.
Could be simple, like a relay, or a bad fuel pump, bad gas or MAF. I wish I had time t o pull it apart. I have new fuel pumps, MAF's which do go bad. If not that? The ECM, which is 49 state and 5 speed. Easy to find. They are simple cars to fix and easy to work on the engine.
It is starting to rust on the Quarter Panel extensions. Floor pans and suspension are fine.
Great deal for 300ZX mechanic. Usually these cars, run forever or drive to the junk yard.
Car ran perfect for 2 years, 2012 -2013, then parked in NJ.
Clean title, no accidents, other than lower QP rust. You must look close to see the rust.
We have a rust free 300ZX, garaged, in NJ, if a buyer would like to see how a good VG30 runs? It is 5 speed, slick top and 1987. which means it runs slower.
