1990 NISMO Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R [Gunmetal Grey / Low Miles / NISMO #444]!

Up for sale is a 1990 'NISMO' edition Nissan Skyline GT-R that was introduced on February 22 1990. It had a total production run of 560 units as required for the "Evolution" models regulation (over 500). Only 500 of the cars were sold to the public, with 60 being held by Nissan (NISMO) to turn into race cars. Its purpose is to homologate a number of aerodynamic changes used in Group A racing. Changes include additional ducts in the front bumper to improve airflow to the intercooler, a bonnet lip spoiler to direct more air into the engine bay, and an additional boot lip spoiler to provide more down-force.

The 'Nismo' GT-R was only available in Gunmetal Grey. The NISMO edition of the BNR32 chassis number started from BNR32-100000 and stopped at BNR32-100560. BNR32-100001 to BNR32-100500 (500 vehicles) were sold to the public. BNR32-100501 to BNR32-100560 (60) vehicles were held by NISMO for their Group A racing. We sold NISMO BNR32-100513 last year, and were fortunate enough to be able to purchase another to introduce it for sale in the states.

So when I say NISMO #444, I am simply truncating the BNR32-100XXX part of the VIN and just calling it #444 / 560.

NISMO edition BNR32's came with the following:

[1] No ABS

[2] No Air Condition (unless it is a dealer optional request, which in this case it was)

[3] No Rear wiper - no hole in the window and different dash switch for the rear wiper

[4] NISMO Badge on the boot

[5] Bigger NISMO RS580 steel turbines w/ metal fins

[6] NISMO bumper vents

[7] NISMO bonnet lip

[8] NISMO boot lid spoiler

[9] NISMO side skirts (with spats)

[10] No mesh in front bumper

[11] No radio - this vehicle has a retro fit.

[12] All NISMO's were 1990 model year

[13] All NISMO's came only in KH2 Gunmetal Grey.

Besides the bubble on the dashboard (which we can fix or replace with a new one), the car has no rust, no damage, no engine oil leakage, transfer-case or rear diff leaks. Furthermore, it does not smoke at startup, nor does it have any bluish white color when revving as you can see by the video below.

Since this vehicle is in California, registration has not been started through DMV yet. I figured I leave that process as clean as possible for the buyer of this vehicle. Since CARB does not have an equivalency in other states besides California, you will not have any difficulty registering this vehicle.
