1962 Nash Metropolitan Convertible This is a 100% nut and bolt restoration with modern amenities on a 1962 Nash Metropolitan convertible. This is a fairly rare car as only 82 convertibles were built in 1962. the last year of Metropolitan production. The restoration and modifications were done by Bob’s Toys. one of the premier restoration shops on the West Coast. The goal was to build a Metropolitan that could win on the show circuit and also be driven comfortably on modern roads. on tours. and to cruise-ins and car shows. The car has been shown twice. winning first in class at the Forest Grove Concours d’Elegance Classic Car Show and first in class at the Portland Rod & Custom Show. It drives beautifully with absolutely no issues and can be driven enjoyed at highway speeds. As you can see from the pictures the car looks like a stock Metropolitan from the outside.
