Extremely rare 1948 Nash Ambassador Convertible. One of 1,000 produced and one of approximately 60 known to exist according to RM/Sotheby's and Mecum Auctions. Rebuilt numbers matching engine, fuel pump, oil pump, water pump, starter and generator. Floorboards, rockers and frame very solid and free of rust. Undercarriage has been bead blasted and is solid as picture shows. That is factory grey paint that remains. New rubber weatherstripping around the trunk and hood from Steele Rubber Products. New fitted carpet with binding and NOS seat covers. New Weather Eye radio grill. All lights work including the dash lights. The clock in the glove box door works as well. The overdrive functions properly and gives it long legs on day trips. I drove this car 1,200 miles last summer and had a blast. A conversation starter no matter where you go. Convertible top frame is complete with the exception of the cloth. I attached a photo of the quote for the top and the chrome.
