Selling off my Mitsubishi 3000gt Twin Turbo AWD VR4
Clear title in hand.
Car runs and drives great, could be a daily driver if you wanted it to be. Cold AC, Fuel gauge actually works (many don't) I bought this as a project and it's about 85% restored, some interior panels still need to be recovered or replaced, Leather seats in great shape, leather shifter knob is cracked and peeling, twin turbo's burn a little oil when you get on it and could stand to be rebuilt, clutch shifts good with the exception of third gear, the syncro's off a bit but I've learned to time it out just right and it doesn't grind. Active Aero light comes on occasionally when you get on it hard. Speedometer doesn't work right, RPM gauge works fine. Hood shocks need to be replaced. Pop up headlights work fine, New paint two years ago. Tires are in OK shape but could stand to have some new ones. I put in an aftermarket stereo and amp but I also have an original stereo to go with it. Drivers side panel and dash are fine, passengers side door panel and two rear panels are rough at the top (pics included), body wise pretty much everything is great.. there are some trim pieces at the bottom of the windows that need to be repainted and trim piece between the roof and the back lift that had what looks like a plastic coating on it that the plastic is all cracked and peeling and will need to be redone (pic included) Fast car, speedometer registers 180, I took it up to 140 once but the tires on it aren't rated for anything higher so I stopped there. This car is a rare color and highly sought after, according to the manufacturing info I can find only 129 VR4's were made in 1991 in Jamaican Blue. Asking $15,000 OBO
