1969 Austin 998cc RHD Auto Trans

Up for sale is my 1969 Austin Mini. It has a 1000cc engine from a 1987 Mini Metro. When I bought it. there were about 159K on the body and 50K on the motor. Since then. I've probably put another 1K on her. Automatic transmission makes this pretty much a no-brainer for any driver. Usual right hand drive. Since purchasing it three years ago I've put about $4. 00 into mechanics (receipts available) and another $2K into body work (there was a crease over the left rear fender that I had repaired and painted - again. receipts available). Replaced the 5 gal fuel tank with the larger 9 gal version. Heater for you northern people. Drove it from TN to NY when I purchased it. then occasionally since. Front end has some bubble rust. floor pans have surface rust. Not a show car. but it's in good condition. Includes cover cover from MiniMania. Could use a tune up. oil change. new tires and probably shocks. The driver's seat needs either someone with a smaller butt than mine or a refurb. New carpeting. Have two or three shop manuals. as well. Retiring in a couple of months and I won't have room for it on my sailboat!
