vTec swapped British Leyland Mini Cooper. Finished in 2018 by Mcgees Custom Minis of Maryland, this little gem is ready for a new home. Still wearing much of its original "Bold as brass" paint, this New Zeland import mini is in exceedingly good shape for its age, and has undergone minimal cosmetic restoration. Under the hood is an dyno proven 162hp Honda D16, fitted with a rocket 5 cam, programmable Hondata S300 ECU, OBX individual throttle bodies, and much more. The front subframe was built and installed by MCM, and retains the Mini control arms and rubber cone style suspension. It also sports a one-of-a-kind staggered set of widened 10" steel wheels. Actual vehicle mileage is unknown, and due to an inoperative gps speed sender, the odometer reads just 85 miles since completion. The gps speed sender has been replaced by the standard electronic honda unit and the speedometer is now functional. Milage since the completion of the engine swap is estimated around 7,500. Recently a complete brake system flush and tune-up was performed, as well as a complete mechanical inspection. The car is currently located in California, and has a clean Texas title.
