1977 Mini. Car was imported into Florida in 2003 from New Zealand. I purchased the car this year. Right hand drive, original interior. Car has been re painted in a couple different spots. Hood and others. Paint overall not real good. It looks better in the pictures. The best thing about the car is that besides a very tiny rust spot on the left side sill it is rust free. It's a very solid vehicle. The seats are worn and the webbing is sagging some. Not bad for being original. There is a well worn spot on the carpet under the drivers seat. I have new dash panels but haven't installed them. The engine smokes a bit at start up. I'm thinking it may need valve stem seals? $0.19 cents a piece and maybe and hour or two to change. There is a hint of smoke while accelerating but not bad. Again the seals may cure it. I've done the following since ownership: replaced the tires with a set of new old stock Yokahamas, replaced the carb float and adjusted, new plugs, points, condenser, adjusted the valves, new valve cover gasket, replaced the shift rod seal, changed oil and filter and a few other things. I've added a steering column drop for a more comfortable driving position and added seat extenders to the drivers chair. I have some early receipts from New Zeland showing the engine being rebuilt. I'm not sure of how many miles have passed but it can't be many. The odometer show 43,333 Kilometers which translated into 26,926 miles? not sure how accurate this is. If I can think of anything else I'll post it. I'm changing gears and have my eye on another vehicle and need the room. Please don't bid unless you are serious. I have set the reserve below what I have invested into the car in order to move it. I have a perfect feed back record and aim to keep it that way.
