Car description

1967 MORRIS MINI COOPER S, MK1One of a kind...Winner of thePersonal Choice Award for MK1, 2016!This car has been in my family for over 43 years. It was built in England (I have the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust). Built and shipped to a dealership in Germany, sold to a military guy who brought over to the states in the late 60's. My older brother bought it in 1973. I had a total restoration, completely stripped and painted in 2003. It is solid and has no rust. Always been driven in the South. The underside looks as good as the outside. The motor runs strong and transmission have been completely gone through (2016) less than 7K miles ago by Heritage Garage in Costa Mesa, CA. I've havemaintained by changing out the fluids and tried to useEthanolfree 91+ fuel when ever possible. It is a verydear car to me and I hate to let it go, buthave a business venture I want to pursue. Like to see someone enjoy it as much as I have...definitelya head turner and good luck getting away from the gas station or grocery store in a hurry...:)

My missionwas to make the 'BEST' Cooper S possible with attn. to detail, sparing no expense, using today's upgraded parts, technology and much help from not only my own experience but many others! Too much to mention. Being an older '67 Cooper S (50 years next year!), and the history of this vintage car, I felt the value will only go up and worth the investment.Just wanted to do what it takes to do it 'Right'.The car was taken down to bare metal and painted blue/white with white bonnet strips in 2003. The painted white top has a Union Jack Flag (decal) also, painted white strips on bonnet. The rocker panels & floor boards where replaced at that time. The paint is great shape with a few chips from the highway. This Mini has a1967Morris Mini Cooper Smotor, a 1275 (.060 oversize) w/ the 'S' head.Rebuilt this year by Heritage Garage in Costa Mesa, CA. (Summer 2016). I enjoy driving it just about every day. I have broken down the list below of all items to make it easy to see.I think the list will speak for itself and makes it one of a kind. I have tried to think of everything possible to tell you to represent it properly. Thank you for looking and please let me know if you have any questions.
