1975 MG Midget

The head has been rebuilt with new valves and seats. The old head is available if you want it. The rack and pinion was replaced with a good used unit along with the tie rod ends. As the car had the wrong radiator in it a correct 1975 one was found and installed, ut it leaks and will have to be repaired. New radiator hoses and the radiator top hold down top plate was replace with a new piece.

The top has been replaced a few years back and there is a boot and toneau to cover the top when it is down. Seats show wear and the driver's seat needs the webbing underneath it, ut that comes new with the car. There is also a good pair of used lower control arms and knuckles for the car as well.

The door and trunk locks were replaced with a new set and all of the weather seals were also replaced. The person that owned the car before me appears to have replaced the rocker panels.

Running gear seems to be fine. Brake and clutch master cylinders have been replaced along with the clutch slave cylinder.

There is rust at the rear wheel openings, river's floor and bottom of cowl panel. Please see the photos. New partial panels are available at Moss Motors or Victoria British. Tires have tread but are old so any long distance trips should be avoided. The front brakes and rotors were replaced a few years ago and the bearings serviced.
