The "B" is being sold in "as is" condition with no warranties expressed or implied.

The "B" had been owned by an older MG enthusiast that purchased it over 20 years ago for himself and his son. The MG is an older restored example that was rarely used since the restoration. The MG was recently serviced by an expert British car technician for the impending sale.

Thebody is in excellent condition as shown in the pictures. The body does not show any rust. According to the owner, it had been restored about 10 years ago at a great expense, and is pretty much in the same condition since the restoration. The owner sent the MG to the local body shop for a repaint and fix any rust on the body. The owner did not realize that the body shop did not fix the rocker panels correctly. When examining the rocker panels closely, the contours of the panels are not correct and also still has some rust behind the outer rocker panel. The underside is solid with evidence of rust near the passenger side jacking point. There is no provision for a hood prop. The body is extremely straight and the panel fit is excellent. The doors fit and close nicely however the vent frames need some final adjustment. Paint finish is very good and presents very nicely. I do not see any rust on the body. The grill is in very nice condition as shown. Bumpers are straight. The trunk is in excellent condition as detailed in the pictures. The MG did not come with a spare. Passenger side mirror is cracked. OEM Steel wheels were professionally painted during the restoration and look new. There are no stone chips on the nose and also no door dings. Does not have the typical "crack" on either doors.
Mechanicallythe MG is in very good condition and is ready to be driven and enjoyed. The engine was recently professionally tuned and runs good. With the colder weather the carbs will probably need some more fine tuning. It starts easily at the pull of the choke. It has great power and pulls nicely. Oil pressure is good. The transmission shifts fine and the clutch works as it should (all new clutch hydraulics) however the reverse lockout does not work. This means that you can hit reverse if you aren't familiar/careful with the gearbox. I don't have any issues shifting. Braking system is fine with no issues. The tires look new, however they weren't purchased recently. Lastly, no issues with the electrical system. Charging system works fine. Lights, heater fan, wipers, blinkers work fine. Exhaust system is fine with no issues.

Recent work includes the following:
New water pump.New clutch master cylinderNew slave cylinder with hoseHeater valvePoints, cap, condenser, rotor & plugsOil changeDifferential oil changeGearbox topped offBrakes adjusted
Has new shocks and rear leaf springs installed in the past - "Moss" stickers are still on the leaf springs.

As mentioned, the MG is turn key and ready to be enjoyed.
Theinterioris in excellent condition as detailed in the pictures. The seats are in nice condition with no rips or tears. Door panels are in nice shape. Carpet is in great shape showing very little wear. The dash board has several cracks and also a repair. It could really benefit from a dash cap. The center console has the typical broken latch receiver. The convertible top is an older replacement that is still in very good condition. It does have a repaired tear on the driver's side. It did not come with a passenger side seat belt. The top fits good and has always been stored with the top up. Top frame is in good condition as well. The rear windows are clear.
The MG comes with a nice convertible top boot and factory jack.
A lot of money was invested in this MG with virtually no miles on all of the work.

**License plate not included.
I do not have a "buy it now" price, but would consider ending the auction early for a serious offer.
