Car description

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice MGB Roadster in great colors just purchased from a family in the Pacific Northwest. This MGB received a sympathetic cosmetic and mechanical restoration a few years back and still shows quite well in it's handsome British Racing Green livery with a crisp black interior. It's fitted with wire wheels and the desirable 4-speed Overdrive transmission, a huge plus for anyone wanting to really use their MGB for Grand Touring on long freeway runs. The body and paint work on this car present really well with very nice original brightwork. The windshield glass appears newer. There are a few touched in paint flaws from normal use, but the paintwork appears to be a quality job, color-sanded, buffed and polished with a high gloss. The car's interior was also restored with superb quality vinyl seats, a rare perfect original dash, clean black loop carpets, and excellent interior panels. The quality, black, crush grain vinyl soft top and tonneau cover are in very good shape. The car's underside looks very solid with no issues. The engine compartment is clean and well kept in body color, with a clean painted engine, most possibly evidence of a previous rebuild. Upgrades include a spin-on oil filter, electronic ignition, alloy valve cover, and high performance air cleaners. This car mechanically is in great shape. The engine starts quickly on the key with little smoke and good oil pressure. The clutch bites well and the strong gearbox operates smoothly. The car's engine sings happily down the road and is a great, fun driver with nice rod manners.Overall, this desirable Overdrive, Wire Wheel car in a handsome color combination is good value and has been well cared for since it's restoration performed by it's previous family owner. Please look at all pictures and call or email with any questions. We will assist in shipping worldwide.
