1971 MGB Roadster Convertible - Ready for fun!
This award winning chrome bumper convertible has been lovingly restored to its current beauty. Freshly painted, new interior including new door cards, new LEATHER door caps, new seat upholstery including new foam and diaphragm straps with complete (from England) stripping and sanding of the seat frames. Originally British Racing Green, it has been freshly painted a lovely very dark green and has a TAN roof with black interior. Gorgeous mahogany steering wheel. Includes newly rebuilt Weber carburetor. New: tires (June 2018), fuel tank, alternator, battery, fuel pump and filter, spark plugs, and replaced the wiper mechanism and blades. Comes with half tonneau cover, drink holder insert, and original instruction manual. Previous owner re-built her engine and added electronic ignition.
These cars are only going up in value. 90% restored. More spent on this British sports car then the asking price. Slightly more to do but enjoy the cruise in style while continuing the restoration. This roadster has the correct Fishmouth grill and bonnet finisher.
You may be asking what is "not" working yet? The speedometer/odometer is the only thing I know that is not working. I use an app for that when I feel the need to watch my speed. So, I don't know the exact mileage. She could use new seat belts. When I bought her, there were no speakers in the doors to test the radio, so I don't know if that works. The windshield wipers were run without blades at some point and left a slight scratch in the passenger side window. Possibly could be buffed out. One mar in the paint on the front. Otherwise, she is gorgeous!
She is so much fun to drive!
(You may ask me about the reserve price)
Includes 2 ignition keys and the trunk key!

It's a solid and beautiful driver but the prior owner allowed wet carpet to sit in the boot which caused rust on the boot floor. Small but patchable holes exist on the undercarriage.-
