1979 MGB ROADSTER w/TONNEAU - RUNS LIKE A DREAM, NO RUST!!

FOR SALE: 1979 MGB Roadster. By the time MG got to the B series, they had worked out all the kinks...this model has a great reputation as a reliable driver.

The car has 70,067 original miles. It runs very well and drives smoothly. The original vinyl soft top was no longer serviceable so it was removed but the frame and all hardware were retained for you to install a new soft top if desired. Like-new tan canvas Tonneau included, $500 value. New tires and radiator, etc., see list. CA registration is up to date, always passes smog with flying colors. There are a couple of small dents on the hood where someone pressed too hard on the metal rather than the frame to close, but these are easy to repair. Otherwise, no damage to the body. Paint has been well maintained over the years but there are two spots on the hood showing metal...no rust.See pictures.
The car sat undriven for a couple of years through my husband's illness and passing. In the last 6 months the following work has been done:
-new tires
-new radiator, water pump, cooling hoses, clamps, thermostat, cooling fan switch (etc), coolant
-new alternator belt
-new battery
-new spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor
-new clutch hydraulics (master cylinder, slave cylinder, flex line) and bled system
-new brake master cylinder and bled brake system
-oil change, with oil filter
