Car description

At a point in my life I have to give up my beautiful Midget that I have owned and enjoyed for 27 yrs. It's the last year of the chrome bumpers. This car has never let me down as it used to be my daily driver, driving to work a 100 miles a day. I have not drove it much in the past couple of years due to poor health. It has been in my garage and I do start her up and let it run. She does need some minor TLC which I am not able to do now. I am being very honest as to explain what she needs, a tune up, oil change, radiator flush, lube, a tire as I had to replace the right rocker arm that caused that tire to wear. The right door check strap needs replaced and the left seat will need recovered. The top of the dash board has a crack but that is just an overlay (in pictures) that is on there because the original was cracking too. She has a little old rust at the door panel (in pictures) but it has been there for many years not getting any worse. Also in pictures is a crack on the front of the bonnet. That crack never showed up till much later after I had the car painted. I assume it had been damaged at one time before I bought the car. The break master cylinder is dripping and the clutch master cylinder is new but it still needs to be bleed properly. The speedometer shows 71291 miles but since I had the engine rebuilt there is only 39000 miles on that rebuilt engine. The car has never heated up on me. I had a custom console made which has 2 compartments and cigarette lighter so to charge phones. You may have noticed in the pictures a martini glass that has a led blue light in the console, well that was just for fun as I did many car shows. There is also blue led lighting under the bonnet and in each foot wells. These are simple things that can be removed. I have installed a nice Pioneer CD/radio that the facing also shows the blue led light. The small chrome plastic knob is broken and I did call the company and to replace it was like 20 bucks. The glove box I removed to make it better but never got around to it, but do have it, shows in pictures. The windshield wipers will need replaced. The top is in excellent condition. The engine compartment and trunk is very clean as the whole car is. The tonneau cover is in fair condition the zippers could be replace, but it still works well and keeps the rain out. I do have the MG Midget bra like new will go with the car, shows in pictures. The luggage rack is new. Other then the couple things I mentioned on the car body the paint job is beautiful. This car was painted 19 yrs ago and everyone is amazed how nice it looks. Because I had a few clear coats put on the paint job. I have most of the car records on the car. This car is a head turner indeed. If I think of anything else that I may have forgotten I will edit the post. If you have any questions please contact me.
